We Make Healthy Hairdressers
Doing things differently creates revolutionary results
Dick Fosbury was born on 6th of march in 1947 in Portland Oregon. At the age of 10 he started practicing high jump with the scissors method like every high jumper in the world. At the age of 15 he was already 6ft 5in and only his height help him getting results. He didn’t feel comfortable jumping like he was taught and as tradition dictated. He started to adapt what his teachers was telling him to do to what he felt was right for his body and developed his own technique with a back flip.
In 1968 Dick won NCAA title and the United States Olympic Trials and qualified for the Olympic Games. He then won the gold medal and beat Olympic record with HIS method. During the Olympics, judges didn’t know at first if they could validate his jump and it took a few minutes to happen. When he won gold some competitors try to have him disqualified without success.
This was his first and last world title. Other, arguably better, athletes started to jump using his method and jumped higher. Only 8 years after his gold medal, 80% of the top competitors were using its technique. Today it is 100% and is the new standard for high jump.

Thriving on creating and re-creating successful marketing programs, my career continues to be a journey of discovery. As technology has truly revolutionized the way both marketing and business is conducted, I embraced by inner techy and dove into the new age of communications.
My career in beauty began when joining Shortcuts Salon & Spa Software as their Marketing Manager for North America. During that time I was their industry liaison for shows, press, partnerships and client relations. Working with manufacturers, a large variety of salons and spas, industry professionals and associations, I expanded my involvement with the business by starting linkup marketing, a small digital marketing agency for the hair and beauty marketing.
Today I pride myself in my integrity and ability to execute creative ideas in a timely, measurable and methodical fashion. It is this consistent dedication to results that has built a reputation for cultivating programs that deliver results.
